DIRECTIONS:
Classes are held at 661 W. Lancaster Blvd, #101, Lancaster, CA 93534 ( park in back of MOAH). We share a parking lot with the museum, behind Lancaster Blvd at Elm (our block is now Ehrlich Ave). We're "the Academy, @ the lofts". Look for the orange wall & Academy signs in the window.

Evaluations are now starting for placement in our programs for 2012. Bring a snapshot (recent, please), and minors must have a parent attend with you. Evaluations are FREE! LIKE our Facebook page:

COST:
Our performing arts and fine art classes are inexpensive compared to the costs of franchises centers like JRP, Barbizon, Casablancas, or other Local performing arts schools. Why?
Those huge companies demand large sums, because they pay sales commissions, and overhead for fancy locations, to "sell you" on appearances. NOT here! We are local, family owned, and co-op with instructors to pass on savings to you. Academy student tuitions start at only $100/month, for a weekly class. Discounts offered for siblings & multiple classes. We are confident that students won't find a more affordable class in the A.V. Ask about a scholarship! Email thompsontalent@yahoo.com

Our classes are ongoing, and cover self esteem, manners & etiquette, presentation skills, and community service opportunities. Joining in the middle simply means you repeat the beginning, as we restart again every 6 months. Limited spaces are available for new students, every February, for prime openings in our most popular classes. Class sizes are small! Current Schedules of classes, for 2012:

MON/TUE: Private music lessons (piano, woodwinds, singing, guitar)

TUE: TV Commercials 5:30- 6:30 ages 7-11;    6:30-7:30 13 +, to adults.

WED: Production: editing lessons (private), Crew/ actor sign up/ drop photos.
           Swords 4-6 pm group teens (Adults call for times, or private lessons)
           Action film Team, with production 6:00-8 pm ( Be in a realistic fight!)

THU:   Models 5-6 pm Runway, print, makeup, photo, manners and etiquette (teen girls)
            M.I.A. acting for film 6:30-8 pm: monologues, interviews, and audition technique
            Private coaching for auditions: 8-10 pm, schedule in advance with producer Susan.

SAT:   MUSIC: Private vocal, guitar group, woodwinds, piano. (afternoons)
           2nd Sat each month: 11am-1: Art Studio open format.
           Art mentors class; with special guest artists, working together in art.
